Drum CWX consists of the same tacky topsheet as Drum, with a slightly softer sponge (41 degrees). The softer sponge allows the player to create more rotation on the ball, and for this rubber a ‘loop-drive’ stroke is most useful.
The use of Drum CWX allows players to drive the ball forward for an emphasis on speed.
